JBOLC Garden Community Farmers Market Opened this past Saturday, June 21st!

We will be open every Saturday until October 25th from 10 am to 3 pm.

"The Bronx Butterfly Community Arts Initiative "(formally known as the Butterfly Project NYC -Bx) is a participatory, community-rooted program that uses visual and literary arts to spark connection, healing, and cultural storytelling — all centered on shared human messages. 

We are proud to donate the " Honor Asha, Celebrate Mother" Community Art Mural to the James Baldwin Outdoor Learning Center as a mixed media art piece representing our global hemisphere as an interactive activity and permanent contribution to the center. The mural will enable participates of all ages to write " messages of love and global solidarity across the oceans worldwide to our earth mother and humanity as a whole. This mural has traveled from El Barrio, Harlem to Highbridge, Bronx carrying over 60 in person and digital notes in its waters. We invite you to help us complete it by bringing nothing but your heart and a pen! 

Meg’s Garden Tea Party - every Saturday at 2 pm

We are happy to resume our popular tea party where everyone is welcome to join and share food, stories, plant love, laughs, recipes, plant medicine and more.
